Throughout my career, I specialised in teaching English and Art, working with young learners and helping them build strong foundations in both language and creativity. My passion has always been to create a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel confident to express themselves, develop their skills, and enjoy the learning process.

As a tutor, I focus on assisting learners in a patient, engaging, and structured way that suits their individual needs. Hi I’m Marnie! I have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and I also hold a TEFL Certification, which has equipped me with specialised skills in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. My TEFL training has given me a strong foundation in lesson planning, classroom management, and adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles — particularly important when working with younger learners. In my Matric year, I achieved two distinctions, including 80% in English and 80% in French, along with strong marks in Geography, Maths, and Chemistry. These achievements reflect both my dedication to learning and my well-rounded academic background.

I have been involved in Education since 2006, working with learners of different ages and abilities. As a tutor, I aim to teach, encourage, and mentor each student while guiding them to reach their full potential.
