Hi, I’m Sentisha! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Law, where I’m developing a deeper understanding of critical thinking, analysis, and effective communication—essential skills that I bring into every tutoring session. In my matric year, I achieved two distinctions, earning 80% in both English and History. These subjects taught me how to think deeply, express ideas clearly, and engage with content in a meaningful way, all while building a strong foundation for future learning.

As a tutor, I aim to empower students to become independent, confident learners. I believe that every student has the ability to succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and guidance. My approach focuses on breaking down complex topics into manageable steps, helping students understand not just what to learn, but how to learn effectively. I have a special affinity for working with young children and am a trained Little Sparkz facilitator. In my spare time, I enjoy going on hikes with my friends and family—it’s a great way to recharge and stay connected. I also love cooking, and especially baking, when I have the time. Over the past year, I’ve had the opportunity to tutor students across various subjects, which has been an incredibly rewarding experience. With 29 years of teaching experience, I specialize in teaching all foundation phase subjects, working with children from Grade R to Grade 3. I am also a certified Little Sparkz Facilitator with BrightSparkz Tutors. My approach to teaching is calm, patient, and friendly, allowing me to build strong personal relationships with my learners.
