Lucky G

Hi, I’m Lucky! I’m currently pursuing a BA in Organisational Psychology and Afrikaans, fueled by my passion for education and helping others succeed. In my matric year, I earned 7 distinctions, achieving 98% in Afrikaans, 83% in English, 90% in History, 80% in Consumer Studies, 81% in Geography, 94% in Life Orientation, and 88% in Zulu. These accomplishments inspire me to share my knowledge and foster a love for learning in my students.

As a tutor, my focus is on understanding what each student finds challenging and creating a personalized plan to help them overcome those obstacles. I believe in collaborating with students to set achievable goals, ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. My primary interest lies in teaching languages, especially English and Afrikaans, and I’m particularly effective with students from grades 10 to 12, guiding them to both understand and appreciate the nuances of language.

In my spare time, I immerse myself in languages and engage in mentorship, public speaking, and the visual and dramatic arts. These interests not only enrich my life but also enhance my teaching style, allowing me to connect with my students on multiple levels. I’m excited to inspire and empower them as they navigate their academic journeys!
