Hi, I’m Liqhawe! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Medicine. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including 84% in English, 80% in Maths, 93% in Life Orientation, 84% in Accounting, and 83% in Geography, along with strong marks in Xhosa and Physical Science. I have been tutoring since 2018, gaining valuable experience supporting learners across different subjects and learning needs.

As a tutor, I see myself not as a traditional teacher, but as a guide who supports and facilitates a student’s learning journey outside of the school environment. I aim to make lessons enjoyable and engaging, helping learners develop a genuine interest in their work while building confidence and understanding at their own pace.

In my spare time, I love reading and spend a great deal of my free time exploring a wide range of genres, from politics and history to romance and science fiction. I also enjoy consuming historical media and doing in-depth research into the historical, political, and economic workings of different countries, interests that fuel my curiosity and enrich my approach to learning and tutoring.

Hi, I’m Yolisa! I’ve completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and German Studies at Rhodes University, where I developed a deep appreciation for language, culture, and how people learn and communicate. In my matric year, I achieved 3 distinctions, including 85% for isiXhosa, 80% for Business Studies, and 82% for Mathematical Literacy. These results reflect my dedication and love for learning—something I now enjoy sharing with others through tutoring.

Since the beginning of 2024, I’ve been working as a tutor and have found it incredibly rewarding. I specialise in tutoring isiXhosa at high school level, and my approach is all about meeting learners where they are. I focus on building their confidence, simplifying complex topics, and helping them apply their knowledge effectively in both classroom settings and exams. My aim is to make lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to each student’s individual needs so they can see real progress and feel empowered in their learning.

Hi, I’m Okuhle! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery, a field that has deepened my passion for helping others and understanding the human experience. In my matric year, I achieved 3 distinctions, including 82% for both History and Life Sciences. I also earned a strong 78% for isiXhosa and 71% for Mathematics, which reflect my well-rounded academic background and determination to succeed across subjects.

As a tutor, I aim to engage meaningfully with each student by creating a comfortable and supportive environment. My focus is on helping learners understand the content in a way that makes sense to them, while also identifying their specific challenges and meeting their individual needs. As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand their content in a way that makes learning engaging and approachable. I’m Sivenathi! I performed exceptionally well in my final year of Matric having obtained 5 distinctions in Accounting and Xhosa with 86%, LO & Maths with 87%, and Physical Sciences with 89%. I am now currently studying towards a Business Sciences in Analytics (Data Science) degree with majors in Statistics and Computer Sciences at university.

I have both formal and informal tutoring experience and currently volunteering in a tutoring society which helps in tutoring school learners in township high schools. I enjoy being a tutor as I enjoy engaging with people, I want to help learners develop skills, and improve confidence in their subjects.

When I am not busy with my studies, I enjoy reading and swimming as my leisure time.
