Hi, I’m Siyavuya! I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Science in Actuarial Science, a field that perfectly combines my love for problem-solving and analytical thinking. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including 86% in Accounting, 92% in Business Studies, 97% in English, 97% in Xhosa, 83% in Physical Science, and 95% in Mathematics. These achievements reflect my dedication to academics and my ability to excel in a range of subjects, which I bring into my tutoring approach.

As a tutor, my goal is to help students understand their content in a way that makes learning engaging and approachable. I aim to provide not only academic guidance but also a support structure that fosters confidence and independence in learners. I believe every student has the potential to succeed, and my focus is on helping them unlock that potential by identifying their unique learning needs and adapting my teaching methods to suit them. My sessions are interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically about the material.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active by playing rugby and football, which keep me energized and teach valuable lessons about teamwork and perseverance. I’m also deeply interested in investments, which align with my passion for numbers and strategic thinking. These hobbies help me maintain a well-rounded perspective, which I incorporate into my tutoring to inspire students and show them how learning extends beyond the classroom.
