I’ve always been passionate about both technology and teaching, and I’m excited to share that passion with others. Education has always been my passion, and I’m committed to using my academic journey to make a meaningful difference in the lives of learners. Hi, I’m Simthembile! I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics, Econometrics, and Public Administration, as well as a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I’m currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Risk Management. My academic background has not only shaped my understanding of analytical and public systems but also ignited my passion for sharing knowledge and empowering others through education.

I have always enjoyed teaching and have long aspired to become a lecturer—something I may still pursue in the future. I completed my PGCE to deepen my teaching practice, and tutoring has been a natural extension of that. There’s nothing quite like witnessing that “lightbulb” moment when a student finally grasps a difficult concept. I take pride in helping learners work through questions and truly understand the material, not just memorise it.

In my spare time, I’m a fan of most mainstream sports—an absolute F1 (Ferrari) supporter and a die-hard fan of Manchester United, the Lakers, the Springboks, the Stormers, and Orlando Pirates. I also enjoy gaming on both console and PC, exploring theological topics, and spending time outdoors hiking or camping. I believe in a well-rounded lifestyle that balances intellectual growth, physical activity, and fun—something I try to bring into my tutoring approach as well.
