I started tutoring in 2018 because I wanted to share my knowledge of the subjects that I love so much. I’ve always been passionate about education, and tutoring has allowed me to grow and develop that passion while studying. I’ve had a wide variety of students over the years and I’ve always gone the extra mile for them to make sure that they feel more confident in their own abilities after our lessons have concluded. My students have to work hard, but they reap the benefits in the end. We will work on exam technique, study methods, calculator skills and comprehension – above and beyond understanding the different topics. In my spare time, I enjoy reading (I’m a Hufflepuff) and crocheting.

I strive to be someone who will be able to cultivate confidence in a subject, so that the learner not only performs well, but also enjoys the work. In my spare time, I love to read, draw and be creative.

Hi, I’m Didi! I’m currently completing a BCom in Accounting Sciences, where I am developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In my matric year, I achieved a distinction in Business Studies with 81%, along with great marks in Mathematics and Afrikaans. I also have experience with various subjects from primary school to high school level, which allows me to adapt my teaching approach to different learners’ needs. I believe that education is not just about results but about building confidence and a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

As a tutor, my goal is to guide and support learners with patience and care. I understand that every student learns differently, and I aim to break down concepts in a way that makes them easier to grasp. By creating a comfortable and encouraging learning environment, I help students feel more confident in their abilities and improve their problem-solving skills. My focus is not only on academic improvement but also on helping students develop the independence they need to succeed in their studies.

In my spare time, I have a strong interest in computers and technology. I enjoy exploring new advancements and understanding how things work. This curiosity and analytical mindset influence my tutoring style, as I encourage students to think critically and approach learning with enthusiasm. My goal is to make learning an engaging and rewarding experience for every student I work with.
