Danielle V
Danielle is a qualified Early Childhood Development practitioner, holding a National Certificate in Early Childhood Development, and has performed well across all her Matric subjects. With ten years of experience working in childcare and six years in education, she has developed a strong understanding of how children learn and the different types of support they may need. Her practical experience gives her a natural ability to connect with children and create a learning environment where they feel comfortable and supported.
Danielle has been tutoring since 2020 and currently works as a facilitator at a school, where she teaches and supports children with a range of individual needs. Her experience has included working with children with developmental, physical and learning needs, as well as supporting learners from different language backgrounds. She understands that every child learns differently and believes a tutor should provide individual attention, use different ways of explaining concepts and work at a pace that allows the learner to feel comfortable and genuinely understand their work.
Danielle is highly recommended by our team for her respectful, gentle and approachable nature. She is bilingual in English and Afrikaans and has a natural ability to work with languages, making her well equipped to tutor Afrikaans and English, as well as Maths, Life Skills, Geography, History, Business Studies and Life Orientation from pre-primary through to high school level. Her extensive experience in education allows her to identify where a learner may need extra support and adapt her approach accordingly. She is particularly passionate about helping learners feel more confident in their abilities and believes that working closely with parents is an important part of supporting a child’s progress.
Outside of tutoring and education, Danielle enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors and exploring the world around her. Her calm and caring personality, combined with her extensive experience working with children, makes her a reassuring tutor who can provide both academic support and the encouragement learners need to thrive.
