I’m Thuli! I successfully completed my matric year with good marks and then went on to complete a BTech degree in Tourism & Event management as well as a PGCE specialising in Senior and FET phase teaching.

As a qualified teacher and experienced tutor, I believe in going the extra mile for my learners, adding to their knowledge and contributing to academic success. I consider myself to be a very friendly, bubbly, enthusiastic and a passionate individual. My aim is to be part of a generation of educators that contribute to a bright future for today’s youth and particularly, the youth of South Africa.

Hello! My name is Alexis, and I am currently pursuing a BCom in Informatics Information Sciences at the University of Pretoria. I take pride in my academic achievements, having obtained 9 distinctions during my first year and 6 distinctions in my second year at university. In high school, I excelled in subjects such as Business Studies (87%), Afrikaans First Additional Language (81%), and English Home Language (84%) according to the IEB syllabus.

What drives me is my passion for tutoring and ensuring that your child receives personalized education that suits their learning style and helps them unlock their true potential. I strongly believe in effective communication, patience, and adaptability as essential elements in assisting your child to not only comprehend but also enjoy their studies. Beyond academics, I have a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors, as well as an interest in technology and video games. Hello, my name is Khaya, and I am excited to introduce myself as your tutor! I hold a Bachelor of Education degree with a specialization in Accounting, Economics, and EMS. During my academic journey, I achieved remarkable success, earning four distinctions in matric, including an outstanding 91% in Accounting and 80% in Tourism.

Tutoring is a passion of mine because it provides an opportunity to enhance the learning experience for students. As a tutor, I strive to go above and beyond to ensure that learners are well-informed and grasp concepts fully. With over four years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students in various subjects, including accounting, English, EMS, maths, and physical science. My primary focus is to help learners understand the material and improve academically.

In addition to tutoring, I thoroughly enjoy engaging with others and providing guidance and advice. I have a keen interest in writing poetry and keeping up with political affairs. These passions contribute to my ability to connect with students on a deeper level and provide them with holistic support in their educational journey.

I’m Jacq! I attained excellent results in my last year of high school, including having passed with 4 distinctions and thus solidifying my commitment to my academics. These results were in the following subjects- English & LO (80%), Afrikaans (84%) and Business studies (82%). I am now currently completing a BA in Communication Studies as well as Psychology at university.

I have a big passion for helping and assisting people. I consider myself to be a very disciplined, creative and determined individual with a strong moral compass and sense of ethics. I have gained valuable leadership and tutoring skills and take pride in helping and supporting others in their academic journeys.

I’m Sumen! I successfully completed my Matric year where I especially excelled in Business Studies and Maths Literacy and received Merit Awards in these subjects. I have since gone on to study a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree at university.

I am an eager tutor who is always keen to share my knowledge, study strategies, and exam techniques with students, helping them grasp complex concepts and achieve outstanding results. I believe in incorporating real-world examples and practical scenarios into my tutoring sessions, making the learning experience engaging, relevant and enjoyable. I’m Rorisang! I’m a current first year student at university studying a Bcom in Information Systems and Finance. I received an 80% aggregate in Matric, having received 6 distinctions in the subjects – English (83%), Afrikaans (81%), LO (86%), Business studies (93%), History (94% and CAT (88%).

I consider myself to be a very discipled, punctual and driven individual and I know what it takes to improve a learners marks and the work that goes into doing so.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and also happen to have a big passion for fashion!

I’m Nadine! I matriculated with distinctions in both Afrikaans and English languages. I then went on to complete both undergraduate and post-graduate BCom degrees in university and now currently work in finance.

I have a passion for numbers, and love tutoring business subjects like Economics and Business Economics. I really love helping others to achieve their academic goals and recently helped a family member pass matric!

I consider myself well-mannered, friendly and compassionate. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping and hiking.

I have tutoring experience from my high school as well as University years. Some of my roles in University include being appointed head tutor at my res aswell as being a student assistant. I can make hard concepts more understandable by making it relatable to the client’s interests. I can accommodate all clients by using learning styles that best suits them; from the visual to auditory learner. I communicate well, I am a good listener and I go out of my way to ensure that my learners achieve their goals. Some of my own personal interests include photography, artas well as Thai Chi.

The experience I have acquired has allowed me the opportunity to develop a variety of skills that make me a well-rounded educator. I received 4 distinctions in Matric including in the following subjects – English, LO, Business Studies and Drama. I am currently in my 2nd year studying a BA in Psychology at University and I have been a tutor for two years thus far and really enjoy helping students learn. I help children see learning as something that is fun and exciting, I encourage thinking outside the box and helping them develop new skills so that they can grow their knowledge. I believe that each child is unique and has their own special skills that they can use to make a huge impact on our world.
