Hi, I’m Fabian! I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Pure Mathematics, where I get to explore the depth and beauty of mathematical theory. In my matric year, I achieved two distinctions, scoring 90% in both Mathematics and Engineering Graphics and Design. These achievements sparked my passion for teaching, and I’m dedicated to helping students develop a strong foundation and confidence in their mathematical abilities.

With experience tutoring across various syllabi, including IEB, Cambridge, and CAPS, I’ve developed a flexible approach to match each student’s unique needs. Hi, I’m Siphosethu! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering, where I get to explore my passion for technology, problem-solving, and innovation. I have extensive experience tutoring both the IEB and CAPS syllabuses, and I’ve been formally tutoring since 2023. I also assist at the the Kay Mason Foundation, supporting learners across different grades and academic levels.

I especially enjoy tutoring Maths and Physical Science — they’re my favourite subjects to explain and break down for learners. As a tutor, my aim is to clear up any confusion students may have, whether they’re struggling with the basics or working through more challenging topics. I believe in meeting each student where they are and guiding them step-by-step until they feel confident and capable. I also tutor in isiXhosa, which allows me to connect more personally with learners who prefer support in their home language.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring all things related to software engineering, technology, and development. I’m a tech enthusiast through and through, and when I’m not coding or learning something new in the tech space, you’ll probably find me watching or playing soccer. I bring the same energy, focus, and problem-solving mindset from my hobbies into every tutoring session.

Hi, I’m Ofentse! I have completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, where my dedication and hard work earned me a merit undergraduate scholarship. I was also honored to be on the Dean’s List and recognized as the overall Top Achiever in 2022, which truly fueled my passion for finance and accounting. In my matric year, I achieved a distinction, and now I specialize in helping BCom Financial Accounting students prepare for their Taxation exams. My goal is to provide tailored support, ensuring students grasp complex concepts with confidence and excel in their studies.

As a tutor, I focus on understanding each learner’s struggles and developing creative, effective strategies to help them overcome challenges. I believe in making lessons comfortable and productive by fostering open communication and really listening to the student’s needs. Hi! I’m Rito, and I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining. During my matric year, I achieved two distinctions, including an 86% in Mathematics. My strong academic background, particularly in technical subjects, has shaped my approach to problem-solving and teaching, which I’ve been able to share through tutoring.

I have experience as a university tutor for Mechanics in 2011, where I formally assisted a group of struggling students to prepare for their exams. As a tutor, I aim to help others by offering different perspectives on complex topics. I believe that by bridging the gap in understanding, I can make learning easier for my students. My goal is to take students who are struggling and guide them towards improvement, giving them the tools and confidence to perform better and succeed academically.
