Hi! I’m Moloi, and I am currently completing my Bachelor of Oral Hygiene. Throughout my academic journey, I have consistently excelled, earning three distinctions in Matric. Recognizing the importance of education, I have dedicated my time to volunteer tutoring, where I have successfully helped my students achieve distinctions as well. For the past three years, I have provided homework assistance, understanding that empowering children at an early stage sets them up for success in their higher education. I am a patient and consistent individual, passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives through tutoring. With excellent communication skills and teamwork skills, I foster an environment conducive to learning.

In my free time, I indulge in my love for reading. I believe that education is the key to unlocking one’s potential, and I am committed to guiding and inspiring students to reach their academic goals.

I’m Hamidah! I concluded my Matric year on a high note, securing favourable marks having received 8 distinctions. Some of these include English (87%), Afrikaans (86%), Maths & Physical Science(90%) and Accounting (96%) to name a few. I am now currently studying medicine at university and have gained but peer and professional tutoring experience.

I believe that the role of a tutor is to devise plans that will better the student, help them understand and to be a mentor. I enjoy tutoring as I enjoy helping others and building their confidence in their academics.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking and watching movies.

I’m John! I excelled in my Matriculation year, attaining excellent marks across various subjects. I then went on to study a BEng degree in Mechatronics, and now currently completing my Post Grad.

I am a dedicated and experienced tutor in STEM subjects up to university level as I believe my strong background in the engineering field has enabled me to possess an in-depth knowledge and keen understanding of various science subjects. My solid educational foundation allows me to effectively convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. I am adept at breaking down intricate topics into understandable parts, ensuring that students grasp the fundamental principles and build strong foundations with tangible results.

I’m Likhona! I excelled in my Matriculation year, attaining excellent marks across various subjects and obtaining 6 distinctions in subjects such as Maths and Geography with 92%, Life Science with 96% and Physical Science with 93% to name a few. I am now currently studying towards my MBChB at university of which I am also part of the Golden key society forming part of the 15% of top achievers in my class; and actively engaged in medical practicals at a local hospital.

I have a few years of tutoring experience under my belt and work well with learners. I believe in simplifying content to make it more understandable to learners and meeting them at their point of need.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading books and spending time with loved ones.

I’m Portia! I am a Medical Intern Doctor and during my Matric year I achieved 7 distinctions including 80% for English, 88% for Maths, 86% for Life Orientation, 89% for Physical Science and 88% for Civil Technology. I have experience tutoring and mentoring students during my university year where I helped them study and achieve higher marks. As a tutor, I aim to personalise my lessons according to my students needs and learning styles. My focus is to teach my students skills that help them retain information and easily apply it to other academic subjects in future. I am thoughtful, innovative and I hold great communication skills and in my spare time I enjoy creative arts, gaming and solving puzzles.

I’m Pooja! I completed my Matric year with commendable achievements, having done well in subjects such as Accounting, History and Physical Science. I also obtained 2 distinctions in Life Science and Life Orientation where I received 85% for these subjects. My high school years revealed my passion for education and I am currently completing my admission into Medical school.

I have great experience in tutoring and enjoy passing on my knowledge and contributing to the young bright minds of this generation. I strongly believe that every student can achieve excellence through hard work, dedication, persistence and with the right aid by their side.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, physical fitness and playing the piano.

I’m Anya! A Masters of Science graduate who achieved distinctions in all my subjects in Matric, some of these included receiving 81% in Maths, 86% in English, 91% in Physical Science, 82% in CAT and 82% in Life Science. I have a really big passion for both science and teaching and have accumulated years of experience tutoring at undergraduate level in major subjects such as Chemistry, Maths and Science.

There is nothing more important to me than seeing a learners confidence, as well as their marks, grow as we fill in the gaps in their knowledge.

Besides my love for tutoring, I have often been described as bubbly, excitable and friendly and enjoy exercising and knitting in my spare time.

I’m Arinao! I completed my matric year with results that I am really proud. I received 5 distinctions in Maths (84%), Physical Science (83%), Life Science (82%), LO (83%) and Geography (87%) – a testament to my dedication and hard work. I am now currently pursuing a BSC in Computer Science and Physics where I’m now in my third year of study.

Furthermore, I have had the privilege of volunteering at various schools, where I have had the opportunity to share my unique approach to teaching and help students achieve outstanding results in their matric exams.

Hi, I’m Asiphe! I’m currently completing a BSc in Mathematical Sciences at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where I’ve developed a deep passion for mathematics. Over the past two years, I’ve had the opportunity to tutor students in various math subjects, and I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can make a huge difference in understanding and confidence. I specialize in high school mathematics, and I’m excited to help students improve their skills and reach their academic goals.

As a tutor, my main focus is to assist students with their questions, guide them through challenging concepts, and provide effective tips on how to study and retain information. I believe that building a strong foundation in math not only helps students excel in exams but also boosts their overall problem-solving abilities. My aim is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively engaging with the material.

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy playing netball, which helps me maintain a balance between academics and physical activity. I find that the teamwork and strategy involved in netball reflect the problem-solving skills that are so important in mathematics. I’m excited to work with you and help you succeed in your studies!
