I am currently a 4th year medical student at University. In my final year of Matric, I completed my studies with 6 distinctions, some including in Afrikaans,Maths, Biology and Physical Science. I am still very much passionate about these subjects and will strive to ensure that students are fully equipped with the tools necessary to succeed. However, when my stethoscope is off, I am a passionate high school tutor with a flair for Mathematics, Biology and Science. Some of my other interests include reading, hiking, fitness, football and debating.

I am currently in my second year of studying Business Science and Computer Science. I absolutely love tutoring all subjects, but I have to admit that Mathematics is my favourite. I would like to teach every student that once a topic is fully understood, you actually enjoy it so much more. I believe I make a great tutor because I adapt to all learning styles. My main goal is to make the learner feel comfortable enough to ask me any questions. I enjoy working with learners and showing them that learning can actually be fun. All you have to do is put in the work, and you’ll reap the rewards. In my spare time, I I enjoy playing the violin and piano, learning some extra coding skills, rollerskate and spend time learning about different cultures and their tasty cuisine!

I worked hard enough to complete high school as an A-student and have gone on to provide A-grade tutoring services. I have 5 years of tutoring experience and in my last 2 years have worked as a head tutor; being subject head of Science, Maths and Languages. I have assisted several Grade 12 students to achieve distinctions when they matriculate, and I have encouraged and motivated many struggling learners to improve their marks. My love for Maths and the Sciences has pushed me to pursue a dual major degree in Biochemistry and Computer Science. I am currently in my first year of studies. In my spare time, I am an avid reader, with a keen interest in the African fiction and Science fiction genres. I also enjoy building jigsaw puzzles and folding origami artwork.

Keenan B

I am a current BEng student studying Mechatronics at University. Some of my achievements in the past 2 years include having recieved Cum Laude in my First Year in Engineering Mathematics as well as making it to round 2 of the Math Olympiad. I would decribe myself as hard working, inquisitive and creative. I enjoy puzzles, brain teasers and anything to do with Maths. I have always made an effort to understand a concept rather than just learn how it is done and I welcome anyone looking to further their understanding of any subject!

It would be my pleasure to assist learners who want to achieve their full potential in subjects such as – Life Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Accounting, History, English and Afrikaans.
