I bagged 4 distinctions & was ranked the top achiever in my school matric year. I also achieved the ‘Good Fellowship award’ & was honored to receive a bursary from my local municipality. I’m currently studying towards obtaining, my B.Sc. In Biological Sciences (final year student) where I’ve taken up the role of ‘Campus chapter president for the Golden Key International Honor Society. I’m also in the process of obtaining my TEFL certificate, I’ve voluntarily tutored English, Maths & Sciences as a private tutor. In my spare time – I enjoy a good read & have a heart for landing a helping hand where I can in the form of community service with a focus on youth/ students.

My name is Daniel. I performed very well throughout high school and only continued to perform better and better into my university years. I completed my Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Property Studies with several distinctions and having achieved Dean’s List (Top 10 Percent) two years running. I have several years experience as a Property Developer whereby I made use of a lot of mathematics, accounting, economics, general communication and more. I believe every student should experience success when learning and doing Math! I am a high school Math teacher and am of opinion that a tutor’s love and enthusiasm for a subject, greatly influences a student’s attitude and aptitude towards learning. I have been privileged to touch many student’s lives over 20+ years teaching Math in schools in South Africa and the UAE, FET colleges, tutored many high school students outside of school and worked closely with home school families within the FET phase. I love sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow. As a child, I always wanted to be a teacher and I believe tutoring is a great way to fulfill this childhood dream of mine. In matric I obtained 3 distinctions, missing the 4th distinction by 1%. Due to my vast interest and knowledge in a variety of subjects I am able to tutor English, Afrikaans, Mathematics, Accounting, History, Geography, and Life Orientation. I would like to assist students with their homework, projects, test preparation, past papers, research, and any other academic tasks they need help with and will ensure that they receive the simplest, most understandable teaching to achieve their academic goals. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing, baking and getting creative with make up.

I achieved 7 distinctions in Matric, including 95% for Maths and 84% for AP Maths. I have completed my BCom Honours degree in Actuarial Science and am currently working as a Junior Actuarial Analyst at a leading company.
