Hello, I’m Shimei, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s of Education (Intermediate Phase) at UNISA. My dedication to education began early on, as evidenced by my matric year where I earned 2 distinctions. Complementing my formal education, I obtained a TEFL certificate in 2019, which marked the start of my dynamic teaching journey. Over the past 5 years, I’ve been engaged in both online and private teaching, offering my expertise to students across the globe.

My experience includes working with diverse platforms and employing the Cambridge curriculum “CambriLearn” as a private teacher for a homeschooling family. I’ve fostered a strong proficiency in teaching English, and I’ve also provided primary school students with tutoring in key subjects such as Maths, Science, Afrikaans, and English. My true passion for teaching has emerged through these experiences, and I’m committed to making information clearer and more comprehensible to students. Hello, I’m Elie! Currently pursuing a Higher Certificate in Economic Management and Science at the University of South Africa, I bring 3 years of enriching tutoring experience to the table. I’m Mene! I completed my Matric year exceptionally well having passed with 4 distinctions which I obtained in Afrikaans with 84%, English with 81%, German with 80% and LO with 84%. I am now currently completing a BEd degree in Foundation Phase Teaching at university which I have been thoroughly enjoying.

I have accumulated 4 years of experience working as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school as well as experience tutoring children from grades 1 – 6 in all subjects and assisting with exam preparation. I also gained special needs experience having facilitated a learner on the autism spectrum with extreme demand avoidance. I have a passion for kids, I enjoy making a difference and seeing learners reach their full potential.

I’m Bran-Leigh! I did exceptionally well in my Matric year, having finished strong with 3 distinctions which I obtained in LO & Maths Literacy with 82% and 80% in Afrikaans and B’s for the rest of my subjects. Since then, I have graduated with a BA in Theatre and Performance at university where I majored in Dance Pedagogy and graduated with distinction. I am now currently studying a Postgraduate Certificate in Education in FET teaching.

I am passionate about education and helping learners grasp concepts in ways that are suited to their specific educational needs. I have also gained experience at the Amy Foundation as a dance teacher for youth. People would describe me as kind, passionate and hard-working.

In my spare time, I enjoy working with children and being involved at my local church and bible study.

Hi, I’m Aimee! I’m currently completing a Diploma in Horticulture and have also earned a Certificate in Project Management. In my Matric year, I achieved four distinctions, including 83% in Geography, 82% in History, 88% in Life Orientation, and 92% in Mathematical Literacy. I began tutoring in 2023 and have found it incredibly fulfilling to help learners grow in both confidence and ability.

As a tutor, I aim to make a positive impact by going the extra mile for every student. I believe in creating a supportive environment where learners feel encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and develop at their own pace. My focus is on simplifying content, reinforcing key concepts, and helping learners find joy in the subjects they may struggle with.

I’m Seth! I matriculated well in my last year of high school having received 2 distinctions with 80% for LO & History. I am now currently studying towards an LLB at University.

I have gained some tutoring experience helping peers back in school as well as helping my younger sister with her own studies.
