Nkululeko M

Hi, I’m Nkululeko! I have completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, where I developed a strong analytical mindset and a passion for problem-solving. In my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, including 90% in Biology, 93% in Maths, and 97% in Physical Science, along with strong marks in Life Orientation, Afrikaans, and English. These achievements reflect both my dedication and my solid academic foundation.

I have been tutoring since 2019, working with students from different backgrounds and levels of understanding. As a tutor, I aim to support students in becoming proficient in their work and to bridge the gap between what they see on paper and what they truly understand. Having faced similar academic challenges myself, I understand the difficulties students encounter. I strive to guide them with patience and insight, while suggesting different strategies tailored to suit different learning styles and personalities.

In my spare time, I enjoy weight lifting and aspire to become a professional bodybuilder one day. I am also passionate about technology and spend my weekends working on DIY Internet of Things projects. These interests keep me disciplined, curious, and creative—qualities that I bring into my tutoring to make learning both engaging and effective.

Tariro M

Hello! I’m Tariro, and I’m currently completing my BSc in Computer Science. My studies are equipping me with deep knowledge in programming, algorithms, and logical problem-solving, skills which are crucial for success in modern academia. During my matric year, I demonstrated my aptitude for technology and analytical subjects by achieving a distinction in Computer Science through the rigorous Cambridge curriculum, along with securing strong marks overall in my other subjects. This background means I understand the effort and dedication required to excel in challenging technical fields.

My philosophy as a tutor is centred around creating a supportive, relaxed space where you never have to be afraid to ask questions. I aim to go beyond just teaching the subject matter; I want to be a mentor who builds a friendly connection, and I strive to guide and push my students to reach their full potential while providing constant encouragement. My goal is to give every student the best assistance and experience possible, helping them not just understand the content but genuinely develop their skills and confidence.

When I’m not focused on my degree, I pursue interests that help maintain a balanced and creative life. I’ve always held a deep love and passion for music, especially singing, which is a great creative outlet for me. Furthermore, since the lockdown period, I’ve gained a strong interest in fitness and have taken a real liking to exercise. These hobbies keep me motivated, focused, and energetic, and I believe that maintaining a balanced lifestyle is just as important as academic dedication

In my matric year, I achieved 4 distinctions, including 89% in Mathematics, 81% in Computer Studies, 87% in Physics, and 80% in English. These subjects sparked my interest in both analytical and creative thinking — a balance I bring into everything I do, especially tutoring.

As a tutor, my goal is to mentor and motivate students by helping them find study methods that work best for them. I believe that every learner is unique, and part of my role is to explore different approaches until we discover what clicks. I want my students to feel encouraged, capable, and supported — because learning should be something that builds confidence, not anxiety. Whether it’s mastering a new concept or preparing for an exam, I’m here to guide each step of the way.

In my spare time, I enjoy both math and art — two seemingly different worlds that actually go hand in hand. Math teaches precision and structure, while art allows freedom and creativity.
