Hi, I’m Carlos! I’m currently completing a BSc in Computer Science, where I get to combine my love for logic, problem-solving, and technology. In my matric year, I achieved 4 distinctions, including 89% in Mathematics, 81% in Computer Studies, 87% in Physics, and 80% in English. These subjects sparked my interest in both analytical and creative thinking — a balance I bring into everything I do, especially tutoring.

As a tutor, my goal is to mentor and motivate students by helping them find study methods that work best for them. I believe that every learner is unique, and part of my role is to explore different approaches until we discover what clicks. I want my students to feel encouraged, capable, and supported — because learning should be something that builds confidence, not anxiety. Whether it’s mastering a new concept or preparing for an exam, I’m here to guide each step of the way.

In my spare time, I enjoy both math and art — two seemingly different worlds that actually go hand in hand. Math teaches precision and structure, while art allows freedom and creativity. I think that’s the perfect metaphor for learning: it requires both discipline and imagination, and I try to inspire that balance in my students too.
