Khanyisile P

Hi, I’m Khanyisile! I am a passionate educator with a strong academic background in the sciences, having already completed a Bachelor of Science Honours in Human Genetics. Currently, I am further expanding my medical expertise by completing a Bachelor of Medicine in Dentistry. My journey into higher education was fueled by a dedicated work ethic during my matric year, where I achieved stellar marks across all my subjects, including Accounting, English, Life Orientation, Life Science, Maths, and Physical Science.

I have been tutoring for more than two years, a role that allows me to share my fascination with The Human Body while helping students reach their full potential. As a tutor, my primary aim is to ensure that every complex concept is deeply understood rather than simply memorised. I focus on building a student’s foundational skills and confidence so that they develop the tools to work independently and tackle future academic challenges with ease.

Outside of my studies and teaching, I like to stay active and give back to my community through Volunteering. You can often find me at the Gym, exploring local trails on Hikes, or spending quality time with My Dog. I believe that maintaining a balanced lifestyle helps me bring high energy and focus to my tutoring sessions, and I look forward to helping you succeed in your academic journey!

Frederik V

Hi, I’m Frederik! I’m currently completing a PhD in Genetics, which has allowed me to develop a strong analytical mindset and a deep understanding of scientific concepts. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, demonstrating consistent academic excellence across a wide range of subjects. These included 91% in Afrikaans, 88% in English, 91% in Mathematics, 95% in Life Orientation, 87% in Accounting, 93% in Life Science, and 87% in Physical Science.

As a tutor, I focus on the individual needs and academic goals of each student. I believe that every learner is different, and I tailor my approach to suit their strengths, challenges, and learning style. My aim is to help students build confidence in their abilities, improve their understanding of key concepts, and ultimately reach — or exceed — their academic goals through structured, supportive guidance.

In my spare time, I enjoy exploring various fields of science, particularly those related to anthropology and biology, as I am fascinated by how science explains both life and human development. I also enjoy games and activities with a roleplaying element, which strengthen problem-solving and creative thinking skills, as well as resistance training, which helps me maintain discipline and balance. These interests contribute to my well-rounded approach as a tutor and mentor.

Kabelo M

Hi, I’m Kabelo! I hold an MSc in Human Genetics and I’m currently completing a PhD in Neuropsychiatry. In my Matric year, I achieved four distinctions, including 88% in Maths and Physical Science, 86% in Life Science, and 81% in Life Orientation. I have been tutoring since 2021, and I’m passionate about using my academic background to help students achieve their own goals.

As a tutor, my aim is to provide clear guidance while identifying and filling any knowledge gaps. I believe in meeting learners where they are, helping them build a strong foundation, and empowering them to approach challenges with confidence. My approach combines patience, structure, and encouragement to create a supportive learning environment that helps students grow both academically and personally.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy hiking, taking on leadership roles, and helping others succeed in their pursuits. I find great satisfaction in inspiring people to reach their full potential, whether that’s in the classroom, in their careers, or in life in general. My hobbies keep me energised and allow me to bring fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to every lesson.
