Shantel M

Hi, I’m Shantel! I’m currently completing a Master of Public Health, a journey that has deepened not only my knowledge but also my passion for helping others understand complex concepts in a clear and meaningful way. During my matric year, I consistently achieved strong marks across all my subjects, including Setswana, in which I matriculated with 74%. These results laid a solid academic foundation and taught me the value of discipline, curiosity, and perseverance.

I have been tutoring since 2024, and in that time I’ve developed a student-centred approach that focuses on clarity, patience, and confidence-building. As a tutor, I aim to carefully explain and break down information that students may find challenging, adapting my methods to suit each individual’s learning style. My goal is always to ensure that students feel supported, capable, and fully prepared when it comes to their exams.

Beyond academics, I enjoy staying active through sports, which helps me maintain balance and bring energy and enthusiasm into my tutoring sessions. I believe that learning should be engaging and empowering, and I strive to create a positive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making progress, and reaching their full potential.

Hi, I’m Tsholofelo! I’m currently completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at UNISA, and I have a passion for helping others reach their full potential. Over the past 7 years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring a diverse range of students, assisting them in improving their academic performance and boosting their confidence. My tutoring experience has given me the opportunity to work with students across various age groups, and I’ve seen firsthand the impact that personalized support and clear explanations can have on a learner’s progress.

I specialize in teaching Sesotho and Setswana, and I’m comfortable tutoring students of any grade level. As a tutor, my approach is to ensure that the student fully understands the material by clarifying complex concepts and focusing on key points that need improvement. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students feel confident in asking questions and exploring new ideas. I also aim to build strong study habits and skills that will help students succeed not only in the immediate subject but in their overall academic journey.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy spending my spare time practicing beauty therapy and continuing to develop my skills in this area. I’ve always had a passion for teaching, and whether it’s in the classroom or during personal time, I love sharing knowledge and seeing others grow. I look forward to working with more students and helping them achieve their academic goals!
