Molly J

Hello, I’m Molly! I hold a BA degree with a major in Journalism from the University of Johannesburg, and I am currently pursuing my Honours in Media Studies through UNISA. With a passion for teaching and a background in language and literature, I have always enjoyed helping others, especially children, and guiding them towards success. During my matriculation, I achieved three distinctions, which laid the foundation for my academic journey. I have been tutoring for six years, and it brings me great joy to witness the growth and potential in every learner I work with.

I firmly believe that every student possesses unique talents and abilities, and as a tutor, it is my responsibility to identify and nurture those qualities in the most efficient and enjoyable way possible. As evidence of my dedication to academics, I was honored to rank in the top 15 out of nearly 8000 students in the 2016 English Olympiad, further solidifying my skills as both an academic and a lover of learning.

Outside of tutoring, I indulge in my main hobbies, which include reading, writing, and horse-riding. These activities not only enhance my personal growth but also provide me with valuable experiences to share with my students. I am excited to embark on this tutoring journey with your children, empowering them to reach their full potential and fostering a love for knowledge and literature along the way.

Paije B

Hello, I’m Paije. I am currently a Chiropractic student at the University of Johannesburg. During my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including notable scores of 83% for Afrikaans, 87% for English, 83% for German, and 86% for Life Orientation.

My main objective as a tutor is to help students not only understand their coursework but also develop a genuine enjoyment for the subjects they are studying. I believe in getting to know each student individually, understanding their unique approach to their subjects, and working together in a way that best suits their needs. My goal is to empower students to excel and feel confident in their academic progress by enabling them to learn according to their own learning styles.

Academics have always been a passion of mine, and as a tutor, I strive to foster independent learning. I aim to guide students in studying on their own and discovering their own methods of understanding and retaining information. Outside of academics, I have a love for reading and writing. I also prioritize an active lifestyle and frequently engage in gym sessions. When I’m not studying or exercising, I enjoy going on adventures with my friends and exploring new and exciting activities. I find joy in cooking and often challenge myself in the kitchen to expand my culinary skills.

Mage T

I completed my Matric with great results, including having passed with 4 distictions in English, Afrikaans, German and LO. I was privileged to be the head girl of my school and made a motivational speech that reached 700 000 viewers on Facebook. I was also awarded a trophy for being strong in my values and a phenomenal leader. I consider myself to be a music making ‘mathematician’ who believes in serving and balance! I have the tendency to make boring work fun and I might add in some life lessons from time-to-time. In my spare time, I enjoy making music as I am a song writer, playing netball, reading and surfing.
