Lerato N

Hi, I’m Lerato! I’m currently completing a Master’s in Engineering Management, after having completed my undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. This combination has given me both a strong technical foundation and the leadership skills needed to approach challenges strategically. In my matric year, I achieved 4 distinctions, including 88% in Mathematics, 83% in Electrical Technology, and 83% in Sepedi — results that reflect my dedication, problem-solving mindset, and academic drive.

As a tutor, I aim to guide learners by not only sharing knowledge but also helping them develop the confidence and skills to work things out independently. I focus on building a solid understanding of the subject matter, encouraging critical thinking, and creating a supportive space where learners feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is to help students become more self-reliant, motivated, and equipped to tackle academic challenges head-on.

In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting and hiking — activities that keep me physically strong and mentally focused. I also love reading fiction, which allows me to unwind and explore different perspectives. These hobbies help me maintain a balanced lifestyle and bring energy, discipline, and patience into my teaching approach.
