Outside of tutoring, Caitlin enjoys socialising and making new friends, reading and horse riding. Her warm and approachable personality helps her build positive connections with the learners she supports.

Keabetswe M

Hello! I’m Keabetswe Meela, a dedicated tutor currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Science in Computer Science at UCT.

My passion for education and helping others succeed began during my high school years, where I achieved four distinctions, including top achiever in several subjects, at the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls. Since then, I’ve been actively involved in tutoring Mathematics, Science, and IT, starting in 2020.

Additionally, I’ve gained valuable experience as a part-time babysitter, further honing my interpersonal and organizational skills. My commitment to giving back to the community has led me to engage in various community service activities at schools and pre-schools. As I continue my academic journey, I find balance by indulging in my love for live jazz performances, as well as immersing myself in the world of literature through reading and writing poetry.

In my tutoring approach, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore and excel in their academic pursuits. With a strong foundation in subjects like Mathematics, Science, and IT, coupled with my own experiences as a diligent student, I offer personalized guidance tailored to each student’s unique learning style and goals. Whether it’s breaking down complex concepts, providing additional practice materials, or offering mentorship beyond the classroom, I am committed to helping my students unlock their full potential and achieve academic success. Together, we’ll navigate through challenges, celebrate milestones, and embark on a journey of continuous growth and discovery.
