Tutor of the Month: September 2021

Joan M. is our September 2021 Tutor of the Month!

Joan has been a BrightSparkz tutor since September 2020. She has completed 199 hours of tutoring to date!
 

Joan: (Business Studies, Economics, English, Maths & Geography)

Joan matriculated in 2013 with excellent results including 6 distinctions. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of degree in Economics and Financial Management at Stellenbosch University. Joan is one of our incredibly versatile tutors who assist with Maths, English, Business Studies and Geography up to at least Grade 12 level, having experience tutoring Maths and Business Studies up to 3rd Year University level. In her free time, Joan enjoys running reading, watching docuseries and baking and considered adopting two puppies as one of her most recent achievements. Joan is a fun, enthusiastic and generous tutor. She goes over and above her tutoring duties and provides the necessary support students thrive from. She is an absolute delight to work with!

We have found Joan to be approachable, encouraging and highly dedicated to seeing her students thrive academically. Joan strongly believes in the importance of early childhood development, and in encouraging young students to adopt a solid work ethic in their early years of academics. Joan has got a dynamic and egergetic approach to tutoring. Her compassion and her patience aid her in being one of our most beloved tutors & facilitators.

Joan’s warm nature is the reason she is one of our best Little Sparks and Study Skills Crash Course Facilitators. She is wonderful person with a passion for academia and her pupils!
