Hi, I’m Shivaani! I’ve completed a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, a 140-hour TEFL course, and I’m also a certified Study Skills Crash Course Facilitator. In my matric year, I achieved 5 distinctions, including 85% in Afrikaans, 82% in Mathematics, 86% in Accounting, and 85% in Economics. Since 2022, I’ve been tutoring students from various backgrounds, and I truly believe in the power of education to unlock confidence and long-term success.

As a tutor, I bring high energy, deep care, and plenty of patience into every session. I aim to create an environment where students feel supported, inspired, and empowered to reach their full potential — not just academically, but personally too. I believe every student has greatness in them; my job is to help them see it for themselves, build their skills with purpose, and celebrate every win along the way. With a solid foundation, the right mindset, and consistent guidance, any learner can achieve incredible results.

In my spare time, I love reading, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and building puzzles — activities that keep me sharp and spark my creativity. I’ve recently started making my own candles, which lets me explore unique scent combinations (so fun!). I also enjoy learning about different cultures, traditions, and languages — something that helps me connect with students from all walks of life.
