Hi, I’m Tamara! I have completed a Bachelor of Education degree in the Foundation Phase as well as an Honours degree in Educational Leadership and Management. I also hold a 150-Hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Certificate, which has equipped me with the skills to teach English as a second language to a diverse range of learners. With experience teaching at the Foundation Phase level, I’ve developed a deep understanding of early childhood education and how to lay strong academic and emotional foundations for young learners.

As a tutor, I aim to create a supportive, engaging environment that meets each student at their level while helping them move forward with confidence. I believe in identifying and addressing learning gaps early, using a patient and structured approach to build core understanding and academic resilience. My goal is to spark a love for learning by tailoring my methods to suit each learner’s unique strengths, challenges, and pace—helping them achieve both short-term success and long-term independence.

In my spare time, I have a passion for painting, which allows me to express my creativity and explore various artistic techniques. I also enjoy volunteering, where I take part in community service initiatives and support those in need. These experiences keep me grounded, inspire empathy, and reinforce my belief in the power of connection and kindness—values I carry into every tutoring session.
