Hi! I’m Shivar, and I’ve completed a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve always valued the power of curiosity and consistent effort. In matric, I achieved 9 distinctions, including 80% in English, 91% in Hindi, 86% in Mathematics, 92% in Accounting, 88% in Business Studies, 93% in Economics, and 90% in both Life Sciences and Physical Science. These results reflect my dedication to learning and my drive to understand things deeply.

As a tutor, I believe that the true greatness of having knowledge lies in sharing it with others. I aim to extend a helping hand to every student I work with, guiding them through different levels of understanding and helping them reach their academic and personal goals. Tutoring, to me, is more than just teaching—it’s about connecting, building confidence, and bridging the gap between where a learner is and where they want to be.

In my spare time, I enjoy a wide range of activities that keep both my mind and body active. I’m a former South African Chess Champion and continue to play and coach with passion. I also enjoy playing and following cricket and soccer. Music is close to my heart—especially Indian and English classical pieces and golden oldies. I love reading, exploring new places, and diving into self-development experiences like firewalking and life coaching. Each of these interests shapes my approach as a tutor, keeping me grounded, disciplined, and inspired to help others grow.
