Hi! I’m Amy, and I’ve completed a BLL.B Law degree. I’m bilingual in Afrikaans and English, and I’ve always had a love for learning and helping others reach their full potential. In my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 83% in Afrikaans, 84% in CAT, 83% in English, 83% in Life Science, and 81% in Mathematics. My academic background and passion for education have driven me to support learners in becoming confident and capable individuals.

As a tutor, my goal is not only to teach but to inspire. I want every learner I work with to feel like they can do anything they set their minds to. I focus on creating a supportive and uplifting environment where learners feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow. It’s important to me that each student walks away from a lesson feeling more empowered and ready to take on their academic challenges.

In my spare time, I love being involved in community outreach programmes that focus on uplifting and creating opportunities for children in disadvantaged communities. I enjoy reading self-development books and learning about—and spreading awareness of—important social issues like gender and racial inequality, gender-based violence, and mental health. I’m deeply passionate about the law and its power to create change in our country. When I’m not working or volunteering, you’ll find me out on a hike, enjoying the beach, meeting new people, or laughing with friends.
