Hi! I’m Zain, and I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance with Accounting. I’ve always had a passion for numbers and languages, which helped me achieve three distinctions in matric—including 86% for Mathematics and 84% for French. My academic journey has taught me the importance of understanding the “why” behind concepts, rather than just memorizing answers, and that’s something I carry with me into my tutoring.

As a tutor, I don’t just aim to teach—I aim to bridge the gaps between what’s taught in the classroom and what’s expected in assessments. I focus on helping students develop effective exam techniques, understand key concepts clearly, and approach problems with confidence. I believe that with the right guidance and strategy, any learner can thrive academically.

In my spare time, I enjoy crocheting blankets and scarves—something I find both creative and calming. I’m also passionate about giving back to the community through charity work, which includes making donations and volunteering as a tutor for Ikamva Youth in subjects like Accounting and Mathematics. When I’m not tutoring or studying, you’ll find me in the kitchen experimenting with new cooking and baking recipes.
