Hi, I’m Pretty! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Science Honours in Human Cell Biology. My academic journey has always been driven by curiosity and a passion for understanding how the human body works at a cellular level. In my Matric year, I achieved four distinctions, including 86% in Physical Science, 88% in Life Orientation, 89% in Xhosa, and 82% in English, along with strong marks in Maths, Life Science, and Geography. I am also able to tutor in English, Xhosa, or Zulu, which allows me to communicate with and support a wider range of students.

These results reflect my dedication to learning and my enthusiasm for the sciences. I have been tutoring since 2019, and over the years I have developed a teaching approach that focuses on both academic success and student well-being. As a tutor, I aim not only to teach but also to support my students emotionally and encourage their confidence. I teach with passion and always tailor my lessons according to each student’s individual learning style and needs. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas, and building a strong understanding of their subjects.

In my spare time, I enjoy academic tutoring and knowledge sharing, particularly within the health sciences. I am especially interested in areas such as drug synthesis and cancer research. I also value continuous self-improvement and psychometric development, and I enjoy exploring educational technology and digital learning platforms that can enhance learning experiences. Personal development and analytical problem-solving are also important to me, as they help me grow both academically and professionally.
