Hi, I’m Nhlamulo! I am currently completing a PhD in STEM Education and I’m passionate about helping students understand and enjoy learning. I have completed my PGCE in the FET Phase, specialising in EGD, Geography and Technology. This training has equipped me with both the subject knowledge and the teaching strategies needed to support learners effectively and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles.

I have been teaching since 2020, and during this time I have developed a patient and supportive approach to working with students. As a tutor, I focus on identifying gaps in a learner’s understanding and working through them step by step. I believe that when students build a strong foundation and feel confident asking questions, they are far more likely to succeed. My goal is to guide learners so that they not only meet the requirements of their work, but also gain the confidence and skills they need to keep improving.

Outside of teaching and research, I enjoy activities that keep me thinking and exploring. In my spare time I enjoy playing chess, hiking and listening to podcasts. These interests reflect my curiosity and love for learning, which I bring into my lessons. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable, motivated and ready to do their best.
