Hi, I’m Khanyi! I have completed a BCom in Accounting and I am currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Education: Senior Phase & FET. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 82% in English, 89% in Afrikaans, 92% in Maths, 90% in Life Orientation, 89% in Accounting, 83% in Life Science, and Physical Science. I have been tutoring since 2023, and I am passionate about helping learners unlock their full academic potential through structured guidance and encouragement.

As a tutor, I believe that learning should always be learner-driven. My role involves collaborating closely with both the learner and their parents to create a supportive and goal-oriented environment. I aim to guide students towards reaching their academic goals while building their confidence and independence along the way. I strongly believe that parents play an important role in supporting learners, and open communication ensures that everyone works together effectively. Ultimately, my goal is to help students not only improve their marks, but also develop the skills and self-belief they need to succeed independently.

Beyond tutoring, I have a keen interest in volunteer work within youth development and mentorship programmes, where I enjoy making a positive impact in young people’s lives. I also love short-story reading and writing, particularly fiction, as well as engaging in trivia and puzzles that challenge my thinking. In my spare time, I stay active through social sports and physical activities such as Padel, park runs and walkathons, which help me maintain balance and energy in both my personal and professional life.
