Hi, I’m Nikita! I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Genetics, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and scientific problem solving. In my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 83% in Afrikaans, 86% in CAT, 83% in English, 80% in Mathematics, 80% in Life Sciences, and 81% in Physical Sciences, along with strong marks in Life Orientation. These achievements reflect both my dedication to my studies and my ability to manage my time effectively while maintaining high academic standards.

As a tutor, I aim to support students in a way that ensures true understanding rather than simple memorisation. I believe that tutors should prepare thoroughly for every lesson and create a comfortable, friendly environment where students feel safe to ask questions and work through challenges. Building confidence is just as important as mastering content, and I am passionate about helping students develop strong problem solving skills that will serve them well beyond the classroom.

In my spare time, I enjoy karate, which has taught me discipline, perseverance, and focus — qualities I bring into my tutoring sessions. I also love reading, as it allows me to expand my knowledge and perspective, and baking, which gives me the opportunity to be creative while developing patience and attention to detail. I strive to bring this same balance of discipline, curiosity, and creativity into every lesson I teach.
