Hi, I’m Alexandra! I’ve completed a Master of Education in Special Needs Education and have been teaching with heart and dedication since 2014. Supporting learners, especially those with diverse educational needs, is my absolute passion. I believe every child has unique potential, and it’s a joy and privilege to help them discover their strengths and grow in confidence. With over a decade of experience, I bring patience, understanding, and a genuine love for education into every session. As a tutor, I aim to do more than just teach—I strive to connect with each learner, meet them where they are, and gently guide them toward where they can be. I take the time to understand their learning style, identify both their strengths and areas of difficulty, and tailor lessons to suit their individual needs. My goal is always to create a safe, encouraging space where students feel supported, capable, and excited to learn. My main focus is on Afrikaans, English, and Maths, mostly for primary school learners. In my spare time, you’ll find me soaking up the peace of nature, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or curled up watching an insightful documentary. I believe learning can be found in every corner of life, and I bring that same curiosity and enthusiasm into my teaching. I’m here to walk alongside my students every step of the way, cheering them on and helping them shine.
