Hi, I’m Rosa! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and I’m bilingual in both English and Afrikaans. I’ve always had a strong passion for learning and helping others—something that’s driven both my medical studies and my approach to tutoring. In my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including 91% for English, 86% for Afrikaans, 87% for History, and 82% for Life Science. I also achieved a close 72% in Maths, which has helped me better understand where students might struggle and how to guide them through it.

As a tutor, I aim to bridge the gap between schoolwork and real understanding. I believe in slowing things down, focusing on key concepts, and making sure students truly grasp the material before moving forward. My goal is to create a space where learners feel encouraged and supported, where asking questions is always welcome, and where growth happens at their own pace. With patience and a clear plan, I help students feel more confident in their abilities.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to the gym and spending quality time with my friends and family. I believe a healthy balance between work and rest is key—not just in life, but in learning too. Tutoring allows me to share that perspective with students, showing them that learning doesn’t have to be overwhelming when you have someone in your corner.
