Hi, I’m Tlou! I’m currently completing my BSc in Applied Mathematics, and I’ve always had a deep passion for numbers, problem-solving, and helping others succeed academically. In my matric year, I achieved seven distinctions, including a 92% in Mathematics. That experience, along with my university studies, has given me a strong foundation and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and simply. I have experience tutoring informally and have helped many of my friends and classmates improve their marks by working through difficult topics together.

As a tutor, my goal is to build on what someone already knows from school and make sure they truly understand the material — not just enough to pass, but to feel confident in it. I believe that when students feel supported and their questions are welcomed, they learn much more effectively. Outside of academics, I’m a big sports fan.

I love watching soccer and tennis whenever I get the chance. I bring the same focus and enthusiasm I have for sports into my tutoring sessions — helping students stay motivated, engaged, and working towards their goals. I’m looking forward to helping more learners achieve success in math!
