Hi, I’m Tamia! In my matric year, I achieved multiple distinctions across a range of subjects, including History and isiZulu. I’m versatile in my academic strengths and enjoy connecting ideas in meaningful ways. My background has equipped me with strong analytical and communication skills, which I bring into every tutoring session.

As a tutor, I aim to guide each student through their learning journey by helping them identify and correct mistakes while building their confidence. I believe in a calm, supportive approach that encourages growth and understanding. Whether it’s reviewing concepts, practicing problems, or preparing for exams, my goal is always to ensure that the student feels equipped and empowered to improve.

I have a special interest in languages and culture, particularly isiZulu, and I enjoy helping students engage with the subject in ways that feel relevant and rewarding.

In my spare time, I enjoy listening to pop and country music—it’s one of my favourite ways to unwind. I also love reading novels, especially stories that offer new perspectives and spark the imagination. These hobbies help keep me creative and patient, qualities I bring into my tutoring style.
