Hi, I’m Hein! I’m currently completing a BSc in Computer Science with a focus on Software Development. In my matric year, I achieved a distinction in Computer Applications Technology (CAT) with 89%, which sparked my passion for tech and problem-solving. I’m fascinated by how digital systems work and how we can use technology to solve real-world problems — a mindset I bring into every tutoring session.

As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students succeed academically, but also to support their personal growth. I believe in creating a comfortable and engaging environment where learners feel heard, supported, and motivated. Whether it’s going over tricky concepts or simply having a chat to build confidence and connection, I aim to be someone students can rely on. I want them to walk away from our sessions feeling more capable, confident, and ready to take on their challenges.

In my spare time, I stay active with body-weight exercises, which help me stay focused and energized. I also enjoy working on small programming projects that let me apply what I’ve learned in class to real scenarios. These projects not only sharpen my skills but also keep me curious and motivated to keep learning — something I hope to inspire in my students as well.
