Hi, I’m Yolandri! I’ve always believed in the power of perseverance, curiosity, and personalised learning. In school, I achieved strong marks — 75% in Afrikaans, 74% in English, and 79% in Maths Literacy — and these results reflect my commitment to consistency and hard work. My academic journey, combined with my professional background in nursing, has shaped me into someone who is both detail-oriented and deeply compassionate — qualities I now bring into my role as a tutor.

As a tutor, my mission is to offer focused, one-on-one support that recognises every student’s unique way of learning. I know that people grasp concepts differently, and my aim is to uncover the method that works best for each learner. By giving personal attention, providing structure, and creating space for growth, I help students feel less overwhelmed and more empowered. It’s not just about fixing mistakes — it’s about building confidence, encouraging questions, and guiding students to trust in their own abilities.

In my spare time, I love anything creative or hands-on — whether it’s painting, gardening, or crafting. I have a deep love for animals, and my interest in the medical and health fields continues to inspire me, especially after working as a nurse. I also enjoy music and listening to thought-provoking podcasts, which feed my curiosity and keep me grounded. My wide range of interests allows me to connect with students on many levels, helping them feel comfortable, inspired, and ready to learn.
