Hi, I’m Pieter! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I believe that anyone can succeed with the right guidance, and I’m passionate about helping students overcome challenges. In my matric year, I achieved three distinctions, with 81% in Physics, 80% in Business Studies, and 86% in CAT, along with strong marks in Mathematics. These results reflect my strong foundational knowledge and my dedication to academic excellence.

As a tutor, my primary aim is to help students understand the areas they find difficult and empower them to succeed. I believe in a patient and encouraging approach, focusing on building a solid understanding of core concepts rather than just memorising facts. By working together, we can identify your unique learning style and develop a personalised plan that helps you tackle your struggles head-on. My goal is to make learning an engaging and rewarding experience, helping you feel confident and capable.

When I’m not focused on my studies, I enjoy a few hobbies that keep my mind active. I’m a big fan of sports, particularly cricket and football, although I no longer play them. My other interests are closely related to my studies, including exploring the maths and algorithms behind machine learning and dabbling in Game Development. These hobbies have taught me the importance of problem-solving and logical thinking, which are skills I apply to my tutoring sessions to help you break down complex topics into manageable parts.
