Hi, I’m Daniel! I am currently completing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, where I’ve developed a strong analytical mindset and a genuine passion for problem-solving. In my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 91% for Maths, 89% for Physical Science, 91% for Life Science, 94% in Visual Art, 85% in English, and 81% in Life Orientation, along with strong marks in Afrikaans. These results reflect both my academic commitment and my ability to balance technical and creative subjects.

As a tutor, I aim to engage students and help them truly understand their work, rather than simply memorising content. I believe tutoring is a different form of teaching that focuses on specific gaps in understanding and tailors explanations to each student’s needs. It’s a space where students can ask questions freely, be curious, and explore why things are done a certain way, building confidence alongside academic skill.

Outside of academics, I enjoy a range of activities that keep me challenged and inspired. These include rock climbing, spearfishing, and cinematography, all of which have taught me discipline, focus, and creativity. I’m also deeply interested in Christian apologetics, which has strengthened my ability to think critically, communicate clearly, and engage thoughtfully with complex ideas—skills I bring into every tutoring session.
