Hi, I’m Sinethemba! I have completed a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics and am currently completing a Bachelor of Education. During my matric year, I achieved five distinctions, including 81% in Xhosa, 90% in Maths, 84% in Physical Science, 87% in Life Science, and 89% in Geography, along with strong marks in Life Orientation. These achievements reflect my strong academic foundation, dedication, and passion for learning.

I have been tutoring since 2017 and bring several years of experience supporting students across a range of subjects. In addition to tutoring, I am also a Maths Literacy teacher, which has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and support students with patience and confidence. As a tutor, my aim is to reinforce key concepts, re-teach areas where needed, and help students build a deeper understanding of their work. While the teacher lays the groundwork, I focus on ensuring students can confidently apply skills and principles in practice.

My approach is guided, supportive, and flexible, exposing students to different methods of solving problems and a variety of learning styles suited to each student’s individual needs. I strive to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing in confidence. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring Maths, Science, and new learning methods, staying informed and inspired so I can continuously improve the support I offer my students.
