Hi, I’m Rashmika! I hold a BSc Honours in Chemistry and have a deep passion for both science and teaching. During my matric year, I worked hard to achieve 5 distinctions, including 84% in Afrikaans, 82% in English, 84% in Consumer Studies, 82% in Life Science, and 87% in Life Orientation. Life Science has always been a subject I enjoy, and I find it incredibly rewarding to help others understand the concepts that make the natural world so fascinating.

With 4-5 years of formal tutoring experience, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students at various levels, helping them achieve their academic goals. As a tutor, I focus on fostering growth, nurturing curiosity, and providing students with the time and attention they need. I aim to not only be a teacher but also a mentor and a friend, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, explore new ideas, and build confidence in their abilities. Life Science is an area I especially love tutoring, and I find it fulfilling to guide students through its complexities while helping them appreciate how it connects to everyday life.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking and baking, which allows me to express my creativity and unwind. I also love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, exploring nature, or just enjoying a quiet moment in the fresh air. Giving back is important to me, so I always look for ways to help others, whether through tutoring or volunteering. I look forward to sharing my passion for learning and science with my students, and I’m excited to help them succeed!
