Hi, I’m Jeanne! I’m currently completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biomedical Sciences at the University of the Witwatersrand. During my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 87% for Life Science, 86% for Accounting, 83% for English, 86% for Life Orientation, 84% for Afrikaans, and 88% for Math. My strong academic background, especially in Life Science, has given me a solid foundation to assist students in mastering these subjects and achieving their goals.

I have one year of tutoring experience, where I’ve had the opportunity to support students in various learning environments. My approach as a tutor is not to replace the teacher but to guide students in understanding the material in a way that suits their individual learning styles. I’m very patient and perceptive, which has helped me understand how different students approach learning and how best to facilitate their progress. I aim to build students’ confidence in their ability to understand complex concepts, especially in Life Science, by breaking down the material into more manageable parts and making it engaging.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading various genres of novels, with a particular interest in investigative mysteries. I also love painting and drawing, which allows me to express my creativity, and I enjoy baking a variety of desserts. These hobbies help me maintain a balanced life and give me a creative outlet outside of my academic and tutoring commitments.
