Hi, I’m Elize! I’ve been passionate about education for as long as I can remember, and I’m proud to say I’ve been a teacher since 2016. I hold a Bachelor of Education degree in the Intermediate and Senior Phase, and I’m also a certified Little Sparkz facilitator. In my matric year, I achieved excellent grades—something I strive to help my learners accomplish too. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to support learners in subjects like Business Studies and Computer Applications Technology (CAT), ensuring they not only grasp the content but feel confident applying it.

As a tutor, I take a personalized approach—first assessing each learner’s individual needs and identifying where the content becomes challenging. From there, I target those specific areas with focused, practical support. Whether it’s navigating the ins and outs of Business Studies, mastering digital skills in CAT, or building a stronger foundation in English or Afrikaans, I aim to build both competence and confidence in every learner I work with.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy creative writing, developing educational resources, and mentoring young learners. I also love spending time in nature—especially taking walks with my daughter—diving into thought-provoking books, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. I believe that a balanced, curious life makes for a more engaged teacher, and I bring that energy into every lesson I teach.
