Hi, I’m Tehya! I’m currently studying towards my Law degree at Stellenbosch University, where I continue to build on my passion for language, analysis, and critical thinking. In my matric year, I achieved six distinctions, including 81% for English, 91% for Afrikaans, 90% for Business Studies, 85% for History, 80% for Mathematics, and 91% for Life Orientation. English has always been one of my favourite subjects, and I’m excited to help high school learners grow their confidence and skills in it.

As a tutor, I believe my role goes beyond just teaching the content. I aim to guide students in how they approach their subjects and tackle different types of questions, especially in preparation for exams. I strive to offer valuable insight into the material, helping learners understand not just what to study, but how to study effectively. My goal is to provide structured support and guidance so students feel more confident and capable in their academic journey.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active by going to the gym and relaxing by watching Formula 1—both of which keep me motivated and focused. I’m passionate about helping students succeed, and I look forward to sharing my love for English in a way that’s both engaging and rewarding.
