Hi, I’m Sariëtte! I hold a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching and have dedicated my career to helping young learners build confidence and achieve academic success. During my matric year, I achieved excellent results in subjects such as English, Afrikaans, and Home Economics, which laid the foundation for my passion for education and language development. With over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 676 tutoring hours completed through BrightSparkz Tutors, I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of learners, each with unique strengths and learning styles.

As a tutor, I strive to create a positive, encouraging, and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to reach their full potential. I pride myself on being a patient and dedicated team player who works hard to ensure that every learner feels understood, valued, and capable of succeeding. My teaching approach focuses not only on improving academic performance but also on building self-confidence, independence, and a genuine love for learning. I believe that with the right guidance, encouragement, and personalised support, every student can thrive.

Beyond academics, I am passionate about helping learners develop important life skills such as perseverance, organisation, and critical thinking. I enjoy building meaningful connections with both students and parents, ensuring open communication and a collaborative approach to progress and success. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cycling, and spending quality time with my family, all of which help me maintain a balanced and positive outlook that I bring into my teaching.
