Hi, I’m Leica! I’ve completed a National Diploma in Early Childhood Development, which has given me a strong foundation in nurturing young minds and understanding how children learn best. In my matric year, I achieved a distinction in Afrikaans with 85%, and I continue to enjoy working with language and communication in fun and accessible ways.

As a tutor, I strive to make each lesson engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to the learner’s needs. I’ve been described as well-prepared and enthusiastic, and I love using a variety of tools and techniques to make concepts easier to grasp — whether it’s through visuals, games, or interactive exercises. I bring a friendly, positive, and approachable energy to all my sessions, and I’m truly passionate about teaching and helping learners grow in confidence and ability.

When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy spending time in the garden, cooking wholesome meals, and getting lost in a good book. These hobbies keep me grounded and creative, and they reflect the calm, nurturing approach I bring into my teaching. I believe that learning should feel joyful and encouraging — and I aim to create that experience for every student I work with.
