Hi, I’m Lara! I have completed a Bachelor of Education in the Intermediate and Senior Phase and also hold an additional Early Childhood Development Certificate. My background has given me a strong foundation in teaching students of different ages, and I am particularly passionate about helping children and pre-teens build confidence in their learning. 

As a tutor, I focus on ensuring students develop concentration, repetition, and a solid understanding of fundamental concepts—especially in Mathematics. I strive to help learners see the importance of Maths beyond the classroom, making it engaging and relevant to their daily lives. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students can thrive academically and personally. I am friendly, enthusiastic, and patient, and I adapt easily to new challenges to meet each student’s unique learning needs.

In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, reading, fitness, music, and gaming. I am also passionate about personal development and actively volunteer as a facilitator for personal growth courses. I believe that learning extends beyond academics, and I love helping students build confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills that will benefit them in all aspects of life.
