Hannah J

Hello! I’m Hannah, and I’m currently working towards my Bachelors of Education Intermediate Phase. My passion for education is built on a strong academic foundation, demonstrated by my success in my matric year. I was delighted to achieve four distinctions, including an 88% in English, 83% in Life Orientation, and 81% in both Afrikaans and Consumer Studies. This academic excellence has equipped me with the subject knowledge and dedication required to guide younger students effectively through their learning journey.

As a tutor, my primary aim is to work within the specific context of each individual learner. I focus on finding the source of their struggle, offering support from a different point of view, and showing them how they can learn best. My approach involves patient guidance, encouragement, and providing the extra support needed to help them navigate challenging subjects. I believe that by understanding a learner’s unique difficulties and tailoring the approach accordingly, I can empower them to achieve their full academic potential and foster a genuine love for learning.

Outside of my studies, I am someone who finds deep personal fulfilment in helping others and using my skills to support those around me. I have a strong passion for leadership and actively seek opportunities to guide others towards becoming the best versions of themselves. In my recreational time, you’ll often find me with a book as I enjoy reading, or perhaps in the kitchen as I also enjoy baking. These activities help me stay refreshed and bring the same energy and commitment into my tutoring sessions.
