Hi, I’m Elise! I am currently completing a degree in Data Science, where I am developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In my matric year, I achieved 7 distinctions, including 89% in Accounting, 92% in Afrikaans, 83% in English, 87% in IT – Java, 91% in Maths, 85% in Physical Science, and 90% in Life Orientation. These results reflect my dedication to academic excellence and my ability to stay disciplined and motivated. I have been tutoring since 2023, and I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential.

As a tutor, I aim to provide both academic and emotional support. I see my role as an extension of the teacher—someone who offers additional guidance, creates a safe space for questions, and helps build a student’s confidence in their abilities. I strive to make learning engaging and approachable, so students feel empowered to tackle their work independently.

In my spare time, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors. I have been riding horses since the age of 3 and still ride whenever my schedule allows. I also love hiking, running, and going on walks in general. Since moving to Stellenbosch, I have developed a new interest in wine tasting and padel, which has been a fun way to explore new hobbies and meet new people.
