Hi, I’m Claire! I hold a Bachelor of Science Honours in Mathematical Statistics, awarded with First-Class Honours. In my matric year, I achieved 6 distinctions, including 80% in Biology, Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, and Latin, along with strong marks in Physical Science. These results reflect both my academic discipline and my genuine enthusiasm for analytical and language-based subjects. I have over three years of tutoring experience, working closely with learners to strengthen their understanding and confidence.

As a tutor, my aim is to complement the role of the teacher by providing specialised one-to-one support that focuses on each student’s individual needs. I see my role as secondary to the classroom teacher, reinforcing key concepts, addressing gaps in understanding, and helping students improve their marks in a structured and supportive way.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to classical music, and exploring photography. I also have a keen interest in documentaries, particularly those that expand my understanding of the world. These interests keep me curious and engaged, qualities that I bring into my tutoring to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
